Casal Law Office is very active in presenting defense to liability insurance companies and insured cases before Federal and Puerto Rico Courts, with its three counsels having represented clients in hundreds of cases in civil, torts, liability insurance law and infringement to copyright, among others, defending the Don King and Oscar De La Hoya Pay- per- view copyright infringement, as well as the YI- SHOU trademark and patent infringement before the State and Federal Courts. Unfair Dismissal, Retaliation, Workers Compensation, ERISA, and Wage and Hours claims are also areas of litigation and expertise for the firm. 

 

The Community

Casal Law Office has pride to be generous and supportive of our community’s causes. For example:

 

• We have previously sponsored the Peninsula of Cantera Community Project serving as liaison between the community, the church and schools with the government agencies.

• We have supported the Heart for Haiti activities throughout the years even before earthquake of 2009.

• The Salesian Society Foundation Fund for its scholarships at San Juan Bosco School in Cantera, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

• Sor Isolina Ferré Foundation on a fund raiser for battered mothers with children, among others.

• Pro bono cases with the Puerto Rico Bar Association.

• Incorporate and provide legal service to Cooperadores Salecianos Inc., foundation for the treatment and care to homeless HIV patients in their terminal stages.
